NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE

Gateway systems that connect the forest

A gateway connects the sensor network with the monitoring platform. Its location and backhaul plan are central to reliable operation across remote or difficult terrain.

Plan the radio path

Azulogic describes up to 10 km line-of-sight node range. This is a communication specification; it is not a 10 km fire-sensing radius. Trees, terrain, installation height and interference affect the radio path.

Connect measurements to the platform

The gateway brings data from distributed nodes into the monitoring workflow. Assess local connectivity and backhaul availability as part of the deployment design.

Survey before scaling

Map the monitoring area, test representative radio paths and check the practical installation locations. A site survey helps identify gaps before full rollout.

Define operational ownership

Agree who monitors connectivity, investigates missing data and maintains infrastructure. Network health and fire alerts need clear, separate response procedures.

Move from questions to a deployment plan

Tell us about the area and assets you want to protect. We can discuss the monitoring approach and a practical next step.
